The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is right around the corner and Jaguar has revealed the pictures of a new vehicle that kind of looks like an SUV. They call it the C-X17, and according to them, will be the most advanced vehicle in terms of architecture. The body construction may be done using a highly advanced process called the modular aluminum building, which apparently strengthens Jaguar innovative future. This mysterious ‘only lines being visible’ picture exemplify the future vehicles of the luxury carmaker being manufactured using the same concept.
But the picture does not actually reveal what exactly the architectural phenomena might be, or what type of car the C-X17 will be. This design unveiling is being guarded heavily and the brand is not hoping to reveal anymore until the 9th of September. That is the day the 2013 Frankfurt Motor show will commence, and Jaguar is all set to unveil the Concept C-X17 at the show. When analyzing the picture with extreme caution, it appears that the C-X17 will might as well be a 5 door crossover with ‘fit to bust’ fenders and a spoiler mounted on the tailgate.
In 2011, at the same Frankfurt Motor Show, the brand revealed its C-X16 Concept. That Concept car was a hybrid, powered by a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged with 379 BHP and coupled with an electric motor that supplemented another 94 BHP and 194 NM Torque. The C-X16 gradually went on to become the Jaguar F-Type, which is now in production. But the hybrid part is yet to enter the brand’s automobile lineup and the C-X17 is looking to be the prone nominee. Apart from the baffling C-X17, other cars like, the XJR, F-Type, XFR-S and “R” Performance will join the Jaguar display fleet at the Motor Show.
