Datsun India has delivered 500 units of redi-GO hatch to customers in significant markets of Haryana namely Ambala, Hissar, Rohtak and Panipat. The cars were delivered to the excited new owners during the special ceremonies held at the authorized dealerships of Nissan & Datsun in Haryana. The company had also introduced the “Datsun redi-go app” during the launch of the hatch in June, and so far over 3 Lakh users have downloaded the app.

Datsun, the budget-friendly arm of Nissan, has confirmed that the redi-GO has registered over 12,000 bookings in the country. It was launched in a price range of Rs. 2.38-3.34 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi). The company has plannned over 300 dealerships in the near future to cover upto 90 per cent of current and prospective customers in the country and provide them with easy and immediate access to sales and aftersales services. With the Kwid's 0.8L engine at the helm of affairs, the hatch returns an impeccable mileage of 25.17kmpl, while doing a best-in-segment 0-100kmph sprint of 15.98 seconds. It is also being speculated that Nissan might introduce a 1.0L version of redi-GO on the lines of Renault Kwid.
