Datsun is showcasing its much awaited product GO through a pan-India road show. After its unveiling in July'13 at an event in Delhi, this is the first time when customers will be able to witness GO live that too in their own city.
The roadshow commenced from December 14, 2013 in Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai and will move to 90 other locations in the country including many tier II and III cities. This roadshow will help Datsun to create awareness about its arrival in the country and will be able to get customer feedback before the official launch of GO. The roadshow features specially created pavilions with interactive LCD display offering various information about the new Datsun GO.
Kenichiro Yomura, president, Nissan India said, "Dream, Access and Trust constitute the three pillars of the Datsun brand and we wish to highlight each one of them by showcasing the all-new GO to our customers. The GO promises to fulfil the aspirations of the Indian car buyers with its attractive price proposition and we are sure that it will exceed their expectations with its stylish exteriors, spacious interiors and innovative features. We wish to become a household name in India and reaching out to our customers is the first step towards it."
Datsun Go is based on the design of Nissan Micra’s V platform and will be powered by a 3 cylinder 1.2 litres petrol engine mated with 5 speed manual gearbox. The car will make its debut in mid of 2014 and Datsun will use Nissan's existing line up of dealerships and service centers for their operations.
