Datsun India has teased the silhouette of an unnamed product on the social media platform that appears to be a special edition variant of the model. The special version by Datsun will get some cosmetic add-ons and is expected to go on sale during the festive season. Earlier, the brand teased the silhouette similar to that of the Go+ MPV, but later the teaser image was added with nose and rear detail.
It is still not clear as what all exclusive feature will be offered in the special edition version, but in the teaser image, the car features roof-rails, rear roof-mounted spoiler, side skirt, and body decals on the sides. The special edition version is expected to cost slightly more than the regular model.
Mechanically, the special edition will be packed in the same powertrain as seen in the MPV without any changes, powered by a 1.2-litre engine that cranks 67bhp and peak torque of 104Nm. The unit is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox that returns a fuel efficiency of 20.6kmpl.
In India, the car has been priced between Rs. 4.05 lakh and Rs 4.77 lakh, all prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
