Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd has launched Mumbai’s first DC Fast-Charger EV charging station at Maharashtra Mantralaya. As the Indian government is pushing the zero emission electric mobility in the country, the need for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is increasing. This newly installed EV charging station complies with the Bharat EV specifications and it comes with a capacity of 15 kW.
Speaking about the launch of the new electric vehicle charging station, Mr. Akshaye Barbuddhe, Business Head of EV Charging Solutions business of Delta Electronics India said, “With our new range of electric vehicle charging solutions, we intend to support the Government of India’s mission to drive electric mobility. Our entire suite of solutions in EV Charging including the Bharat Chargers will complement the Indian e-mobility initiative providing a reliable technology and backing of the Delta brand.”
Delta’s comprehensive portfolio of energy efficient advanced EV charging stations will offer solutions to all kind of electric vehicles including zero emission buses, electric cars and commercial electric vehicles as well. Once fully charged, the car batteries of the EVs available in the Indian market are able to sustain up to 100 km to 120 km.
Apart from providing charging infrastructure to the electric vehicles these ARAI certified chargers are designed and manufactured locally in India, further supporting the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
