Designer Alexander Malyshev has made preparation of a detailed project for a city car, dubbed as the “Mirrow Provocator”. Though, it is a virtual city car which will be constructed around the tubular frame and incorporates many many details made from polymers. The designer explains that the body of the car can absorb and distribute the impact energy more effectively in case of an accident.
The car is interestingly quite inspired by the rally car cage, where the driver and passenger can enter this vehicle by a door located on the rear side of the machine, while the doors on the sides are only used in case of any emergency. According to the designer, such a provides a highest level of of safety.
The Mirrow Provocator gets minimalist interior, but sports features like power windows, mirrors, seats, adjustable steering wheel, and sunroof, rear seat entertainer, navigation system, and many more. The Provocator also gets xenon projector headlights, rain and light sensors, and cruise control, but these features will be available optionally.
The Mirrow Provocator has been visualized in two variants a classic combustion engine and with hybrid or electric powertrain. The combustion engine could use a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol or diesel engine, while the hybrid and electric variants could get a package of batteries installed in the floor and offering a range of 350-400 km.
