It was an incredible surprise from DSK Benelli at the EICMA 2015 and since then we had been waiting to have a closer encounter with the Benelli Tornado 302 desperately. Based on the brilliant TNT300, the Tornado 302 borrows its name from the Tornado superbike that was not just the most stunning Benelli of all times but probably was among the most beautiful motorcycle ever designed. Just looking b the looks of it, the Benelli Tornado 302 is by far the most gorgeous quarter liter fully faired motorcycle out there on planet earth, and this we tell you, is a brilliant place to start from.
To be offered with an ABS at least as an option when launched in India, the Tornado 302 shares its engine with the TNT300 and is in fact only the second fully faired motorcycle in the history of Benelli. The tornado 302 also shares its power plant with the TNT300 and comes with a parallel twin 300 cc liquid-cooled engine featuring 4-valves and DOHC, however, here the engine will produce more power output and it stands at 35.35Ps of power at 12,000rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm. Other carried forward listing from the TNT300 are steel trestle frame, the 41 mm inverted telescopic fork with 120 mm travel, the monoshock with 45 mm travel, the 260 mm dual-disc brake at the front with a 4-piston calliper, the single-disc brake at the rear with a mono-piston floating calliper and the Metzeler tyres of sizes 110/70-ZR17 and 150/60-ZR17.
