The Italian superbike maker, Ducati has recently unveiled the all-new Panigale V4 motorcycle which is the 1st ever mass produced Ducati bike to have a V4 configuration engine. The new Panigale V4 superbike will be available in three trims including the Panigale V4, V4 S and V4 Speciale.
The basic difference between the three different versions of the new Panigale V4 is that the base version gets Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) up front and Sachs rear shock, on the other hand, the higher V4 S and the V4 Speicale will feature Ohlins setup. Apart from this equipment, the higher spec motorcycles will also feature forged aluminium wheels and a lighter lithium-ion battery. The electronic package that will be standard across the range will include cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, quickshifter, engine brake control, and electronic suspension. The bikes also gets a new 5-inch color TFT screen with dual display layout for road and track.
Talking about the engine and specification of the new Panigale V4, the bike comes with an all-new V4 powertrain which is a 90-degree V4 engine with an output of 214 bhp. The addition of optional Akrapovic race exhaust boosts the power figures to a total of 223bhp.
With the introduction of the new Panigale V4 bike, Ducati has pulled the plugs off the current 1299 Panigale, however, the company still sells the Panigale 959. The new Panigale V4 bike is priced at GBP 19,250 which is equal to 16.28 lakh Indian Rupees.
