Ducati has a new offering for the fans around the globe in the shape of a classic called the Scrambler. Sounds familiar? Yes, we reported about the soon to be launched motorcycle few days back with a series of animated commercials launched by Ducati to give tribute to the actors who were featured in the original Scrambler TVC in 1971. The same Scrambler has been caught testing for the first time on open roads.
A motorcycling enthusiast from Italy, filmed the new Ducati Scrambler, testing on the roads of Bologna, the home of Ducati. The video shows how the rider was standing at an intersection when he spots a Ducati Scrambler and follows it to capture some images as well as the video. The tester on the Ducati realizing that he is being filmed, races away the motorcycle.
Although no specifications are yet confirmed, going by the engine size, we can say that it will be a 500-800cc classic. Ducati will be showcasing the Scrambler on 30th September at Intermot, Cologne, Germany. Famous for building sports and super-sports bikes, with an occasional one or two different offerings like the Diavel and the Multistrada, the Scrambler will be welcomed very warmly by the fans globally.
