Ducati Motor Holding is reporting to have achieved the best sales figure in a month in its history for April 2015. The company sold a total of 7,309 units in the month of April, 2015 which is a 29% growth compared to last year and has now surpassed 2014 April sales of 6500 units by over 800 units for April 2015.
As expected the newly launched Ducati Scrambler series of motorcycles have been well received by the customers and the budget-priced Scrambler is witnessing a strong market response, with only Scrambler's Icon version on sale right now, it is a matter of time the sales figure shoot high gears when the rest three Scrambler variants arrive, namely, Classic, Full Throttle and the Enduro. Ducati is also seen a healthy demand and response to the newly launched 2015 Ducati Multistrada 1200 and the Ducati 1299 Panigale range of superbikes.
Ducati has reported that there has been a 10% rise in sales for the first four months of the year over last year models, with 17,881 motorcycles sold between the start of January and the end of April. Overall this growth, even if the one boosted by the Scramblers removed, show that the Italian brand has been able to continue inching its growth forward.

In what was expected to be a master stroke by Ducati, the Scrambler was always going to be a truly global motorcycle from the Italian company and thus the sales power of the Scrambler was also going to be truly international. With this small, nimble and affordable Ducati machine showing that it is getting traction in global markets and not just in North America, which is Ducati's biggest market, but at the European market also. The Scrambler is already the best-selling motorcycle in Italy, where it has helped bump Ducati sales by 69% over last year.
As per reports, the Ducati Scrambler has rocketed sales growth of Ducati beyond Italy and it is spreading like a wild fire in other European markets as well, with 54% in Spain, 52% in Germany, 50% in the UK, and a 13% increase in France.
As the Ducati Thailand factory starts producing the Scramblers for rest of the world, there will only be more growth added to Ducati sales globally and it might just turn out to be the best sales year in the history of the iconic Ducati brand!!
