The iconic Italian motorcycle maker has finally brought the Scrambler Urban Enduro in India. Ducati has launched the final variant of Scrambler at INR 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This is the fourth and final instalment of the Scrambler model. It carries some of the noticeable changes from other Scrambler variants such as off-road front mudguard, fork protectors, headlamp grill, skid plate, handle bar and spoke wheels. All these elements combines to give it a thrashy rugged look.
Urban Enduro runs on the same engine that propels in its other variants, it is a slightly detuned power unit from the Monster 796. The 803 air-cooled L-twin power mill churns out 74bhp of max power and 68Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission and is known to deliver it a punchy power band that makes it extremely fun to ride motorcycle.
ABS is offered as a standard fitment in the Scrambler and it is equipped with Kayaba suspension and Brembo brakes, while the spoke wheels come shod with Pirelli dual sport tyres. Scrambler is a motorcycle that doesn’t really have a competitor presently apart from Triumph Bonneville that is no one to challenge the Italian Enduro masterpiece.
