Ducati sold 32,600 units globally in first five months of 2015

First five months of this year has been a successful period for Ducati. The iconic motorcycle manufacturer has witnessed an over-all growth of 22 percent comparing to the first half of 2014. Ducati came up with their latest offering Scrambler some time ago and Scrambler proved to be a worthy product. Talking about US market, Ducati experienced a 10percent rise in the sales, whereas European countries like Spain and Italy witnessed a huge 38 percent and 51 percent rise respectively. Apart from these UK, Germany and France market recorded 36 percent, 24 percent and 23 percent growth.
Ducati sold a record breaking 32,600 units of motorcycles globally in the first half of 2015, among this number Ducati managed to sell around 9,000 units of the latest launched Scrambler in the first six months of 2015. Apart from this Ducati sold 4,700 units of the Multistrada 1200, 3,700 units of the Monster 821 and over 3,000 units of the Panigale.
Last month Ducati officially introduced two variants of the Scrambler in a press conference and came up with their largest dealership of the world situated in Gurgaon which is now fully operational and is spread over 2,694 square metres (28,998 square feet) covering five floors. Ducati India line-up consists of Scrambler, Monster 821, Monster S2R and 795. Ducati India will also retail the Hypermotard and Hyperstrada, all models of the Diavel family and the 899, 1299, 1299 S and Panigale R.
