Ducati teaser on social media shows that the bike will produce 208hp power using a Desmosedici Stradale engine.
The bike shown in the teaser is the Ducati Streetfighter V4, a naked version of Panigale V4.
This sturdy bike will be unveiled on October 23, 2019.
The social media teaser released by Ducati showed a Ducati Streetfighter V4 that claims to produce 208hp power using a Desmosedici Stradale engine. The prototype of the naked version of Panigale V4 was already unveiled at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Ducati claims that the pixelated livery highlights the design lines. Thus, one can expect minimal changes to the production bike. The Streetfighter V4 will have similar mechanical components to the Panigale V4. The wheels, brakes, suspension, and the frame are the same.
However, the Streetfighter V4 will sport a taller handlebar, which coupled with a revised foot-peg position will provide an upright riding posture.
The naked prototype revealed wings with the teaser confirming that it will be present on the production bike, as well. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 could come in multiple variants with the higher-spec versions getting the Biplane Wings as a standard fitting.
The bike will draw its immense power from the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, the same one present on the Panigale V4. However, the teaser revealed that the engine will come with a different tuning.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 engine is capable of producing a power of 208hp, as compared to the faired Panigale V4 that produces 214hp. It is an incredible performance, especially for a bike without a fairing.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 weights 178kg, thereby ensuring an astonishing power-to-weight ratio of 116hp/tonne.
Apart from the Ducati Streetfighter V4, other motorcycles are also in line for getting updates. The Ducati XDiavel could get updated electronics that are present on the Diavel 1260, launched in India in August.
