Eicher Polaris and Bank of India together has entered in a partnership, where Bank of India will finance the customers of the newly launched Multix – India’s First Personal Utility Vehicle, which is targeted at the independent businessman in the country.
Bank of India will offer financing options to all the prospective Multix customers in the subcontinent.The finance options can be availed through more than 4,900 BOI branches in the country or through the Multix dealerships.
As per the company, it has designed Multix and its entire ecosystem to serve different needs of independent businessmen, who find other 4 wheelers imperfect. It also added that the Multix is very special with its useful 3 in 1 design and all road capabilities. The brand’s strategic-tie up with Bank of India ensures customized retail finance programs, keeping in mind the needs of the targeted consumers.
The Muiltix has been jointly developed by the Eicher and Polaris, and its under production at Jaipur. The main advantage of this vehicle is its ‘go anywhere’ capability and can be registered by private owners as well. The utility vehicle is powered by a 510.7 cc, single-cylinder engine that can churn out maximum 9.8 BHP of power and 27.1 Nm of peak torque. The 5-seater version also comes with a loading bay at the rear, to carry goods.
However, the main USP of the vehicle is the power-take-off point, that generates power of up to three Kw, that has been named as X-Port by the company.
