Eicher Trucks and Buses displays its whole range of Pro-series trucks at Excon 2017. The displayed heavy-duty trucks also include the flagship products like Eicher Pro 8031XM tipper and Eicher Pro 8049 Tip trailer, which are scheduled to go for construction and mining.
According to Vinod Agarwal, the MD & CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles said that the Government of India is focussed towards the development of infrastructures in the country, thereby, countless developments have also been noticed in every department. Following several revolutionary reforms like Smart Cities Mission and Make in India, the growth of commercial vehicles has also picked up the speed, which has increased the demands for heavy-duty trucks and tippers. He also mentioned that the company is fully prepared to meet the demands. It is ready to supply high productivity, higher tonnage products to take part in this growth journey of India.
The Pro-series Eicher trucks are suitable to run on both flat and gradient roads. Eicher trucks are powered by the Volvo Group’s engines - 7.7-litre VEDX8 and 5.0-litre VEDX5 units that are capable enough to deliver a maximum power output of 330 HP and 210 HP respectively.
Mr. Vinod Agarwal further also said that the company is working progressively in the direction to meet the needs of its customers, as it believes that for its customers to become prosperous, Eicher trucks need to operate efficiently. The company is planning to introduce an EOS App, which will help the drivers to make emergency calls through their smartphones. Moreover, the EOS App will be GPS enabled, which aids to track the location of the truck.
The Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Eicher Heavy Duty Trucks said that with the advancement in technology in the recent times, customers are looking beyond a product and settling to those ones that can be profitable to them overall. Hence, it becomes a priority to satisfy the customer's requirements.
