Everything you need to know about the all new updated TVS Scooty Pep+

In our last story we already told you that the TVS Motor Company has just launched the all new updated Scooty Pep+ in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 42,153 (ex-showroom Mumbai). From cosmetics to mechanicals, the all new Scooty Pep+ has received a host small and big updates. Since the starting, the Scooty Pep+ has been a female targeted scooter and has been quite a famous scooter of earlier days. With the launch of the new updated version of the Pep+, TVS is looking forward to increase its shares in the scooter market.

Talking about the mechanicals, the scooter packs the 4-Stroke single cylinder, 87.8cc Forced air-cooled Ecothrust engine that churns out around 5bhp of maximum power at 6500rpm and peak torque of 5.8Nm at 4000rpm. The engine comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission.  

The scooter also comes with dual-riding modes (economy and power) which is automatically changed based on the throttle usage of the rider, giving an over-all improved fuel economy. TVS has equipped the scooter with features like mobile charging port, side stand alarm and underseat storage hooks. Apart from that, it is also the only scooter in India to be offered with the highest number of colour options as it comes in 11 different colours. TVS also claims an admirable fuel-efficiency of more than 65km to a litre of fuel.

These are the available colour options – Nero Silver, Nero Blue, Frosted Black, Dazzling Blue, Vivacious Purple, Sassy Pink, Gorgeous Grey, Perky Pink, Passion Purple, Blush Red and Princess Pink.
