The side profile is expected to be retailed largely from the ongoing model, save for the new alloy design. The rear-end is also expected to identical to the current model except for a handful of updates to the bumper and tail-lamp cluster. Inside the cabin, there would be bigger and ider front seats with an all-black upholstery. The plastic quality would also be improved while an updated infotainment system also makes its way in the facelifted sedan. The cabin draws inspiration from the all-new Ford Freestyle, which would launch shortly in India.

The petrol variants would get a new 1.2L 3-cylinder Dragon engine, which develops maximum power of 94bhp and peak torque of 115Nm. This engine would debut with the Freestyle crossover, which is scheduled to launch on April 18, 2018 in India. The engine would be linked to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 6-speed automatic gearbox, sourced from EcoSport, would be available as option. The diesel variants would get the same 1.5L 4-cylinder engine with top power of 99bhp and highest torque of 200Nm. The pricing of 2018 Aspire facelift is expected to be the same as the current range.
