The Japanese Auto is all set to launch the highly awaited middle-weight cruiser Vulcan S in the Indian market by January 2018. The bike was already set to launch in the Indian market by early 2016 but the plans were dismissed due to unknown reasons.
Along with the Vulcan S, the company has also made confirmed launch plans for the new Ninja H2 SX SE (the touring friendly Ninja H2) at the upcoming AutoExpo in 2018. The bike was revealed a month back at this year’s EICMA show in Milan.
Our trusted sources have also revealed that the Ninja H2 SX SE will be placed lower than the original Ninja H2 in terms of pricing, and hence you can expect a price tag of not more than Rs 28 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. Talking about the middle-weight cruiser, the Vulcan S, it will be priced somewhere in a bracket of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh.
The Vulcan S will compete against the likes of Harley Davidson Street Rod and Triumph Bonneville Street Twin. While the Ninja H2 SX SE has no real competition, even in the international market let alone in India.
