Exclusive - Tata Kite hatchback and Sedan rendered

Snapshot: Autoportal's graphic designer has put together a rendered version for both the cars.

Tata motors is creating all sorts of waves these days! While the Zest sedan laid the foundation stone for the comeback of Tata motors, the Bolt design is ready to further strengthen it. Joining the new design philosophy of the Tata motors will be the upcoming compact hatchback Kite (codenamed: XO) and its sedan version. Autoportal's graphic designer has put together a rendered version for both the cars.

The Kite will be placed above Tata Nano and below Tata Bolt and will come in a price bracket of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh. While the Kite sedan will replace the Indigo eCS, Kite hatch will replace the Indica. The Kite will follow the Bolt's and Zest's design cues and will have a sharper and aggressive front end, combined with more free flowing lines.

Tata is expected to use the 1.05 litre, 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine in Kite, which first made an appearance on the Manza Hybrid at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo. The 1.05 litre turbo diesel engine will use common rail injection technology and will be capable of producing 65 bhp and 140 Nm output. The car can also get an all-new 1.2 litre petrol unit.

Tata Motors is in full swing to produce some of the generation next cars and make an image in passenger car markets.
