The legendary Italian sports car maker Ferrari has parted ways with its official importer in India- Ashish Chordia led Shreyans Group. The Shreyans Group has allegedly been subject to complaints from dissatisfied Ferrari customers about substandard after sales service. Floating speculation also suggests that the group have taken down-payments for vehicles which haven’t been delivered, nor have refunds been made.
“Automobili Italia Private Ltd, set up by Shreyans Group exclusively for sales and service of Ferrari’s in India is no longer official Ferrari importer. This decision to end contract of Ferrari’s sole dealership in India, comes after a spate of complaints received by Ferrari on issues of sub standard after sales service being offered by the local dealer," said Ferrari's spokesperson.
Recently, Gautam Singhania, MD and Chairman, Raymonds Group expressed his displeasure about Shreyans group on Twitter saying, “It’s completely shameful how Ashish Chordia is taking Ferrari customers for a ride. Outright cheating. And Ferrari sitting quiet…”
Now the Italian sports car maker is contacting all its clients in the country and assuring them of assistance till a new official representative is appointed.
