Having been introduced about a year ago, the California T is still a relatively new model in Ferrari’s lineup and can now be further customized by implementing an aftermarket package from Novitec Rosso entitled “N-Largo” which brings a wide body kit manufactured from carbon fiber. It features a wide variety of components, such as a redesigned front bumper, different aero-optimized side skirts and beefier fenders while at the back resides a fixed wing along with a new bumper hosting a diffuser.
The list of changes goes on with a stainless steel sports exhaust system and a set of sports springs which lower the Ferrari California T by as much as 35 mm. Whenever entering a parking garage or going over a speed bump, the driver will be able to active a hydraulic front lift system which will raise the vehicle’s front by 40 mm in order to avoid minor damages.
To top it all off, Novitec Rosso is providing the Ferrari California T with a set of custom three-piece forged wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches for the rear axle and these come wrapped around in Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires. Sky’s the limit as far as the interior cabin customizations are concerned as the tuner mentions they offer a wide variety of options, including plenty of leather and Alcantara upholsteries.
We saved the best for last as the engineers at Novitec Rosso have also fiddled with the V8 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine and managed to squeeze an additional 108 bhp and 96 Nm for a grand total of 668 bhp at 7,400 rpm and 871 Nm at 4,750 rpm.
Thanks to this significant bump in power, the 0-100 kmph sprint time has been reduced from the standard 3.6 seconds to just 3.2 seconds. In addition, top speed has been raised from 316 kmph to 325 kmph. The tuner mentions that aside from the power hike, the car now offers a faster throttle response and benefits from further optimized in-gear acceleration.
