A Mumbai-based businessman John Postale had his red colour Ferrari impounded by the cops, two weeks back, when caught over-speeding across the Worli promenade in South Mumbai. Charged under rash and careless driving charges, the 25-year-old businessman has had to shell out INR 2.5 crores bond to get his Ferrari back.

Stopped at a nakabandi near Atria Mall at Worli, the Ferrari also caught the attention of Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria, who stopped at the spot while returning home from a function. And ultimately the high-end sports car was seized by the Mumbai police.

This wasn't the first time, that has got Postale on the wrong side of the law. Last year, he was also found to be speeding in his Ferrari along with another fellow businessman in a Lamborghini.

Though, the red sports car has now been handed over to the owner after paying the hefty bond and completion of all formalities, but the police first denied to return it to the businessman and even recommended that his driving license should be cancelled due to repeated violation of traffic norms.
