There is a neck to neck fight between Lamborghini and Ferrari to be the world leader in Supercars. Both the Italian powerhouses launch a car as soon as rival does, but it's been long since Ferrari did so. While Lamborghini is riding high on the success of the Huraacan, Ferrari was snapping out from the split with Fiat. And now, they are ready to launch their first car after the split.
Ferrari has released a four teasers that likely hint at a new model and each image contains a hashtags like #Performance, #Emotion, #Design and #WORDSARENOTENOUGH. The background of each image is also hinting at a circuit corner and what appears to be a portion of a front fascia. While the hashtags and background hints are not enough to decrypt the identity of the model, chances are the new car could very well be the facelifted 458 Italia believed to be called 458 M (Modificata).
While the online revealing of the car is slated for tomorrow on 3rd February 2015, the public debut could take place as soon as March at the Geneva Motor Show. While we can't comment on the looks of the car, an engine change is most likely to take place. The Supercar could get a twin-turbo V8 3.8 litre engine replacing the 4.5 litre V8 mill. The new unit can produce 666 bhp of power and 745 Nm of maximum torque.
We are excited to know what the Ferrari is about to reveal. Watch this space for all the latest updates from the launch.
