Needless to say, a Ferrari is very special by definition but it can be even more desirable if the car is customized through the company’s Tailor Made division in charge of further individualization. For this year’s edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, a one-off California T was showcased to demonstrate the capabilities of this division and as you can see the car has gone through some significant interior revisions.
The seats have been wrapped around in Bordeaux leather featuring ivory diamante detailing and leather inserts while the dashboard now boasts some glossy chrome accents. Some would say this looks a bit overdone as even the steering wheel is covered in Bordeaux leather and the same finish can be found on the dashboard and doors.
While the interior cabin could be labeled by some as being opulent, the exterior remains elegant as it hasn’t gone through any major changes. It wears a bespoke Rosso Ferrari paint that represents a throwback to the Ferrari 125 S which was in fact the company’s very first model. This red finish is contrasted by the ivory 250 Europa GT roof while the brake calipers have received a black look.
Other noticeable cosmetic tweaks on the outside include the ball polished rims and the chrome treatment for the front grille. It’s certainly one of the flashiest versions of the Ferrari California T and obviously these changes have commanded a significant premium over the standard car. Those who are fans of these tweaks and are in the market for a California T will be able to order the visual revisions through the Tailor Made program which offers a plethora of individualization options both inside and out.
There aren’t any mechanical upgrades, so the car continues to feature the same turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine with 560 bhp and 755 Nm of torque. It’s enough muscle for a 0-100 kmph run in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 316 kmph.
