Fiat India has unveiled a new concept vehicle - named Avventura Urban Cross - at the 2016 Auto Expo. Fiat Avventura Urban Cross is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2016 in India. The Urban Cross concept is way more powerful than its foes as it unleashes 140bhp of top power. Also, the almost production-ready vehicle gets several premium features and sporty exterior styling.
The Avventura Urban Cross concept measures 4,000 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width and 1,500 mm in width. Flaunting a rugged front fascia, the pseudo-crossover concept comes with all round body cladding and multiple roof rails. However, it losses out on the spare wheel at the rear, which is present in the ongoing Fiat Avventura. In addition, the Urban Cross boasts of several premium exterior features like LED optical guide tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, ORVM turn indicators and unique follow me headlamps. Inside the cabin, there is touch screen audio system with Bluetooth, Auxiliary unit along with navigation. The interiors are finished in dual-tone theme and identical to the Avventura, it too gets high terrain gauges like compass and inclinometer.
Under the hood, Avventura Urban Cross has a 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbocharged T-Jet petrol engine. The engine generates a maximum power of 140bhp at 5500rpm and peak torque of 210Nm between 2000-4000rpm. It would be linked to a 5-speed manual transmission. Just so you know, the Urban Cross concept would have best-in-class ground clearance. Speaking on the occasion, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India Pvt.
