Fiat India has is organizing nationwide check-up camps at its exclusive dealerships from today, i.e. October 5 – 10, in the country. The company is offering 10% discount on labour pertaining to mechanical repair and free top wash. The Italian automaker is offering attractive discounts on purchases of ambient and ghost lights which are originally priced at Rs. 1250 and Rs. 1460 respectively, will be offered at a special price of Rs. 990 only during the check-up camps.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FIAT Chrysler India Operations said, “FCA’s commitment to the Indian market is massive and gaining customer satisfaction is the topmost priority. FCA India is curating programs that are aimed at enhancing consumer connect and this nationwide check-up camp is a part of the initiative. FCA India has been rolling out routine programs through which the current FIAT owners can get technical support and keep their cars in check.” FCA India exclusive dealership executives will contact existing customers through text messages and e-mails to inform them about the camps. In addition, it will also be promoting the check-up camp through Facebook and Twitter.
Just so you know, Fiat introduced its high-performance Abarth brand in India in August by launching the pocket rocket - the 595 Competizione. And, now it is all set to launch the Punto's Abarth derivative in the country. The bookings for the Fiat Abarth Punto has already started at dealerships at a token amount of Rs. 50,000. The company hasn't disclosed the launch date yet, but it is being learnt that, in all likelihood, it would be launched on October 10, 2015. The Abarth Punto would be manufactured locally and a sub 10 Lakhs pricing (Ex. Showroom) is on cards.
