Fiat Linea 125s Unveiled at 2016 Auto Expo

Fiat India has unveiled the all-new Linea 125s at the 2016 Auto Expo. With a thumping power of 123bhp, Fiat Linea 125s is all set to become the most powerful mid-sized sedan in petrol fuel trim upon its launch in the country. It is being learnt that the Linea 125s would be launched by mid 2016. In additon, the Italian automaker also showcased the Urban Cross concpet and launched the Punto pure hatch at the 2016 Auto Expo.

Talking about the exterior styling, the Linea 125s is based on the standard Fiat Linea, albeit with added premium features like rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, rear parking sensors and OVRM indicators. Inside the cabin, the sedan has ambient lighting and a new touch screen audio plus navigation system. In addition, Fiat Linea 125s also gets cruise control as standard feature. As for the safety of the occupants, the sedan comes loaded with a dual stage driver airbag and a passenger airbag, alongside ABS and EBD as standard. Speaking on the occasion, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to present to you the well acclaimed sedan from FCA’s stable by adding more power to it. The Linea 125s packs a high-performance engine under its hood and promises to be a fun-to-drive car assuring impeccable ride and handling. The Linea 125s will launch in 2016.”

Under the hood, Fiat Linea 125s has the 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbocharged T-Jet petrol engine. It would belt out 123bhp of top power at 5000rpm and 210Nm of peak torque at 2200rpm. The sedan would rival Hyundai Verna 4S and Honda City upon ts launch in the Indian market. “Innovating and providing better quality sales and after-sales services remains our constant endeavour.
