Fiat India has launched the Punto EVO Pure at a sticker price of Rs. 4.92 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi) in the country. Fiat Punto EVO Pure is the most affordable product in the company portfolio in the Indian market. It comes with a best in class 3 year warranty with convenient service intervals of 15000kms. The Punto EVO Pure replaces the Fiat Punto Pure in the portfolio and becomes the entry-level offering under the Fiat brand in India.
Being locally manufactured in India, Fiat Punto EVO Pure flaunts signature ‘Reindeer’ headlamps. It has the best-in-segment ground clearance, while coming with a well-tuned suspension system to tackle the bumpy roads. Inside the cabin, there is a hydraulic power steering and digital instrument cluster, comprising of Digital Clock, Digital Odometer, Digital Trip meter, Distance to Empty Indicator, to name a few. Under the hood, Fiat Punto EVO Pure has the 1.2L FIRE petrol engine which develops maximum power of 67bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 96Nm at 2500rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Punto EVO Pure hatchback would be available in six eclectic colours – Exotica Red, Bossonova White, Hip Hop Black, Minimal Grey, Bronzo Tan and Magnesio Grey. The company claims that it is a smart combination of Italian design, flair, performance and low cost of ownership, while staying true to its DNA as a family car with great driving dynamics. Fiat Punto EVO Pure would challenge the likes of Maruti Swift, Honda Brio, Ford Figo and Tata Tigor in the Indian market.
