Omniauto has come up with a rendering of the Fiat Tipo dressed up in the Italian Carabinieri and Police liveries. Earlier, the car of the Carabinieri and Police were almost all Alfa Romeo and Fiat, but the time has passed. The most recent example is that of the Seat Leon that overcomes the ' Alfa Romeo Giulietta which is currently the only Italian saloon fit for purpose.
But now the new Fiat Tipo has appeared in the market, it’s a sedan "classic" four-door that seems to get closer to the specifications of the latest trends, and Omniauto tried to imagine livery Police and Carabinieri. It should be noted that both police authorities has not confirmed the new Fiat Tipo been added to their respective fleets as of yet.
What do you think? Should both the authorities consider the Fiat Tipo in their Fleet! The model will be packed with packed with MultiJet II 1.6-litre turbo-diesel variant mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox that will produce 120 PS. It has been priced at € 18,700, which could be a feasible price for the police department. But the authorities’ requirement is of a diesel engine with a displacement of between 1.9-litre and 2.0-litre and a power not less than 150 PS.
The new Fiat Tipo is not confirmed yet to enter into the Indian market, but if launched it could be the next generation Fiat Linea in the country.
