MV Agusta has a habit to take years before bringing a model to the market after previewing them to the public. This becomes difficult for us, for MV Agusta can never go wrong with the way their motorcycles look, and when it comes to performance, they are no slouch either.
The Turismo Veloce was supposed to be the first MV Agusta with the updated MVICS 2.0 electronics package, though the Dragster RR and Brutale 800 RR have seemingly beaten the sport-tourer to the punch, as we updated last week. Turismo Veloce, the Varese Company’s challenge to the Ducati Multistrada.
The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce builds upon the now exhausted aesthetic of the Italian company, adding a more upright seating position and touring focus to the brand’s line-up.
If rumors are true, MV Agusta will yet debut another model along the adventure-touring vein at EICMA. Expected to fall somewhere between the Turismo Veloce and Rivale, the new model should take on Ducati’s Hyperstrada in terms of performance and use, and be shipping to dealers in 2014.
Could it be the Turismo Leggero, something that has been spotted in trademark filings from MV Agusta.? While some sites tip the name Stradale. Only time will tell what is what.
