Honda Civic might not had a very successful stint in India but globally they are mulling over the launch of Honda Civic R, the sportier  and faster version of Civic hatchback. To be launched at the Geneva Motorshow tomorrow on 3rd March 2015, the car has been seen in the full body for the first time. Honda Poland has recently revealed an image of the Civic Type R standing with the Civic 5D hatchback and the Civic Tourer wagon.

The hatchback came into limelight after Honda made a very interesting video for the hot hatchback comparing it to Honda Civic in its conventional form. The new Civic R might not be as outgoing as the Civic R concept, but it is no less. The inside of the hatchback will receive bucket seats. Also, there will be an '+R' button on the steering wheel to enhance the engine response.

The power will come from a four-cylinder, 2.0 lite turbocharged petrol unit that will produce power in excess of 280hp which will help Civic R to reach 270 kmph. This is the best-in-class performance figures by far. The power will be sent to the front wheels, while the stopping duties will be perfored by the Brembo 350 mm discs fitted in 19 inch glossy alloy wheels.

Honda has already revealed that the Civic Type R will benefit by a "steer axis" system having additional "kingpins" fitted in the front suspension along with a four-point adaptive damper system.
