- The new Force Gurkha has made its debut at the Auto Expo 2020.
- The new vehicle is much more attractive than its predecessor.
- Along with a BS6 engine and some great styling, here is an excellent SUV in the making.
Force Motors has already displayed a couple of new vehicles such as the Force Gurkha Customised at the Expo. Today, it has sprung a surprise by unveiling the all-new 2020 Force Gurkha model complete with some of the latest features. These features separate this new 2020 model from its predecessor.
The best aspect of this new vehicle is the astounding dual-tone colour combination. If this combination makes it to the production line, it can turn heads at once.
Looks-wise, the new Force Gurkha retains the boxy feel of its predecessor but it comes with exciting changes like new projector headlights and LED DRLs. The front fascia confirms its status as a rugged all-terrain vehicle by highlighting its commanding stance. One of the primary changes includes the replacing of the three-part front door with a single flush door. The glass windscreen at the rear and the front reveal that the vehicle does not compromise on the roominess quotient. The inclusion of the step-ladder and the door-mounted spare wheel exemplify the robust character of this SUV. The new tail lamps gel perfectly with the refurbished boot.
One also expects that several accessories on display at the Expo will not be available as standard fittings. These include windshield guard, back ladder, and the luggage carrier. The model on display had off-roader wheels, but one expects the production version to come with road tyres. Buyers who wish to use this vehicle as an off-roader will have to buy these accessories including the snorkel as accessories.
The new 2020 Force Gurkha interiors feature a spacious cabin that intends to provide a high degree of comfort. The provisioning of Captain seats at the rear and the bolstered look of the other seats go a long way in enhancing the convenience and comfort factor. The boot will come with two side-facing jump seats as an optional accessory. Besides, the SUV comes with a 7-inch touchscreen info system and power windows.
Coming to the engine, the all-new 2020 Force Gurkha will feature a BS6-compliant 2.6L 4-cylinder diesel engine capable of delivering 88bhp of power and 280Nm torque. The all-new 2020 Force Gurkha engine mates with a 5-speed manual transmission system. Other exciting highlights include the 4-wheel drive system and manual differential locks for the front and rear axles.
This all-new 2020 Force Gurkha is much more than a facelift version of its predecessor as many people imagine it to be.
