American automobile brand Ford, is all set to incorporate luxurious audio systems for their 2017 line-up and onwards. It is ready to say goodbye to their 16 year old audio partner Sony for high-end Harman B&O Play audio.Ford will not be making any discriminations when it comes to equipping the speakers in their cars. The B&O will be proudly placed on all Ford vehicles, be it their four-wheelers or trucks. Their prime goal is to experiment with different sound profiles according to the structure and usage of the vehicle. Hence, each car will have a unique sound system that will reflect their individual personalities.
The partners are also hoping that this will help engage human and vehicle in a bond never seen before. Though nothing is set in stones right now, but it is expected that in the near future, these audio systems will perform more than just playing music.
The B&O Play is a creation of the famous Bang & Olufsen and are highly well crafted products that are known for being portable. It was acquired by Harman in 2015, hence giving them the rights to B&O Play. As we are well aware though, Harman provides a wide range of audio and infotainment experience and is not just limited to car audio. Thus this partnership will give it an opportunity to further broaden its horizons.
As we clearly witness in our day to day lives, audio has become an integral part of an automobile these days. And that has made various companies to experiment with various kinds of audio setup to provide the best possible audio. Hence, the partnership between Ford and Harman might just create outstanding results, and heat up the market for the automobile company.
