Ford India is gearing up to launch its latest car Freestyle on 18th April, 2018. The booking process for the Ford Freestyle is likely to commence from tomorrow across all the authorized dealerships across the country. Ford calls it as the Freestyle CUV and the model is expected to be positioned between Figo hatchback and EcoSport compact SUV. Expect it to be priced between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Based on the Ford Figo hatchback, the Freestyle CUV sports a very stylish appearance that is visible from every angle. It boasts large and strong illuminating headlamps, a large black front grille with honeycomb mesh, muscular looking bumpers and C shaped blackened fog lamp housing. It also features sturdy roof rails, turn indicator integrated ORVMs, black cladding, sporty body graphics and alloy wheels. There are compact taillights, an integrated roof spoiler with stop lamp, skid plates at front and back.
Inside the cabin, Ford Freestyle boasts a black theme and there are a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, analog and digital display consisting instrument cluster, a lifted tab-like touchscreen SYNC3 infotainment system at the centre console with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It is flanked by horizontally slated AC vents. It offers ample space and comes loaded with safety features. The car gets Active Rollover Prevention (ARP) technology. Also, there will dual airbags, curtain airbags, ABS, reverse parking sensors and seatbelt reminder etc.
It will be available in four variants that are Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, and Titanium+. On the powertrain front, there will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel unit as well. The petrol motor will churn out 95 bhp of peak power and 120 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel motor will pump out 99 bhp of peak power and 215 Nm of peak torque. The petrol and diesel engine will return 19 kmpl and 24.4 kmpl of mileage respectively.
