Ford GTR1 Customised by Galpin Auto Sports to be Showcased at Pebble Beach This Year

Snapshot: The world renowned customizer GAS (Galpin Auto Sports), will be fetching its first ever coach built supercar to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this year. 

The world renowned customizer GAS (Galpin Auto Sports), will be fetching its first ever coach built supercar to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this year. The car has been baptized as the Galpin Ford GTR1. This car will have more than 1000 bhp (brake horse power) under the cover of the 5.5 liter supercharged V8, re-envisioned by GAS. According to GAS this 5.5 liter, 1000 bhp monster will be able to push the car to a top speed of more than 362.1 Kmph.

When the GTR1 penetrates into the mass fabrication mode. The buyers will have the freedom to choose the body edifice of the car. They can either choose a carbon fiber body or the aluminum body. The car which is going to be unveiled at Pebble Beach will have a body made completely out of metal. This car will have more of a modern and sleeker look that the existing and original Ford GT.  To some this car can be a reminder of the Shelby GR-1 Concept, which was revealed during the Detroit Auto Show in 2005. The interior of the GTR1 is totally covered with deviced aluminum and leather. The McIntosh music system will treat crazy music lovers to head banging sound with absolute clarity.

This mid-mounted power packed container, is fitted with 20 inches formed aluminum alloys, which is wrapped by Pirelli PZero tires. The carbon rotors and six piston calipers are designed to bring the car to a swift stop even when travelling at high speeds. The GTR1is expected to make its first ever civic manifestation on 15th of August at the Quail. This is just a few days before its official unveiling at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance which will be held on 18th of August. Only time will tell, about how the people will react to this 1000 bhp supercar.
