When almost every auto manufacturer in the country is suffering from lack of demand, Ford India has conjured up amazing sales numbers with 33 percent growth in november as compared to last year. The recently launched Ford EcoSport is probably the biggest catalyst of Ford's sales.

In total 12,050 units were sold by Ford India in the month and domestic sales rose to 7,909 units against 5,944 units sold in Novemeber last year. On the other hand, exports remained steady with 4,141 units being shipped. Ford also increased its dealership network to 274 sales-service outlets covering 146 cities across India.

“We are happy that we continue to register steady sales growth despite persistent market challenges as Indian consumers respond enthusiastically to our smart, fuel-efficient and dependable vehicles,” said Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India.

“At Ford, we strive to provide best-in-class products for our valued customers. This festive season, our smart and exciting offers added to the joys of ownership", he added.
