Ford India is all set to showcase its global concept at 2014 AutoExpo India. The company has broken the news with a teaser image of the upcoming model which is said to be soon on company's production line. The company officials said that the concept will be built specifically for the developing markets like India and Brazil, so we can guess it as the next-generation Figo or Ka (in international markets) hatchback or claim as first compact sedan from Ford's stable is undeniable too.
Interestingly, the new concept seems similar to the Ka Concept that company showcased in Brazil last year. But as it a new global concept, it is more likely to be a compact sedan. As revealed in the image, the new model design is quite modern, inspired from the soon-to-be-known as company's traditional design language. The partly revealed concept only boasts the hexagonal front grille with sharp-shaped headlights that overall looks fresh and exciting.
The American automaker has loosed its foothold upto a considerable extent in the Indian market. The company's presence is almost vanished in the C-segment saloons and SUV segment while gradually dying in the hatchback class too. The new interesting concept has brought a lot hope for the Indian market. Ford has now several powertrain options to power the upcoming model alongwith the new impressive design language at its disposal. In this way, the possibilities are more than one which will completely be declared at the upcoming mega show.
