The Lamborghini Gallardo had been around for quite sometime. The last Gallardo model has also been manufactured too, namely the LP570-4 Spyder Performante painted in Rosso Mars colour and naturaly Lamborghini has the replacement under construction.
Pronounced as the Cabrera, the name might not be as striking as the Gallardo, however, with the way it might look, we don't mind at all. The new model has been spotted testing a number of times with the most recent being at the Nürburgring. The car was heavy camouflaged, but that didbn't stop automotive designer and Auto Week illustrator Marco van Overbeeke from rendering what he thinks the car might look like.
To be frank, the rendering almost seems to be a mini-me Aventador and we don't think thats much of a problem. The rear however is a fusion of the Aventador and the Sesto Elemento. The car looks a lot more edgy and futuristic. In fact, one might say that the Gallardo seems too plane jane now.
So can we expect the next V10 all wheel drive baby Lamborghini to be as successful and thrilling as the Gallardo? Well, yes ofcourse, but lets not jump to conclusions. These are afterall just renderings!
