Goodyear India launched the Assurance TripleMax 2 for the mid-passenger segment on the occasion of its 120th anniversary. Assurance TripleMax was first introduced in 2015 in the Indian market which raked in good reviews from car manufacturers as well as customers. The Assurance TripleMax 2 is the updated version of the current Assurance TripleMax which primarily focuses on safety and durability of the tires. It has been tuned for excellent grip performance with short braking distance in wet road conditions, which allows drivers to stop faster and safer. The latest version of the Assurance TripleMax 2 provides superior ride and enhanced comfort.
The innovative compound formulation increases stickiness and the tweaked microstructure facilitates improved grip and braking performance on wet roads. While the new HydroTred Technology with optimized footprint & effective contact pressure enables enhanced handling performance, better tire cornering power and steering pressure. The use of innovative tread pattern on the other hand minimizes pattern noise throughout tire life which in turn provides a smoother and more comfortable drive. Attributed to additional technical features on the sidewall, construction design and materials, the new Assurance TripleMax 2 offers increased resistance to sidewall impacts.
P K Walia, Vice-President (Consumer Business), commented at the launch, “As pioneers in the tire technology, we constantly challenge ourselves to innovate and develop better products to improve the overall driving experiences for the consumers, and this year we are celebrating our 120th anniversary, which marks a significant milestone for Goodyear. From the first tires on moon to the first tubeless tires in India, Goodyear has always been at the forefront of technological innovation and we aspire to design and to produce more high-performance tires with ground-breaking technologies. We are confident that new Assurance TripleMax 2 will allow drivers to experience better wet braking and handling performance.”
