Harley-Davidson India Appoints Sajeev Rajasekharan as its new MD

Harley-Davidson India has appointed Sajeev Rajasekharan as its new Managing Director, effective October 10, 2018. He will be based out of the India Headquarters in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR.

Sajeev, in his new role, will head Harley-Davidson India’s leadership team and will oversee dealer network management, in-country sales, marketing, operations and service activities to widen the company’s presence and establish a strong foothold in the country.

On his appointment, Nigel Keough, General Manager, Emerging Markets, Harley-Davidson, said, “We are delighted to welcome Sajeev to the Harley-Davidson family. Sajeev brings with him years of experience across customer-focused industries and we are positive that his expertise will be valuable as we build the next generation of Harley-Davidson riders in India.”

Sajeev has over 20 years of experience in marketing, operations and sales. Before Harley-Davidson, he worked as EVP with Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Ltd. and was engaged across various consumer durable firms such as Electrolux, Panasonic, Samsung India, Thomson India, Onida and Blow Plast.
