Harley Davidson India to introduce Road King motorcycle in the country soon

Recently we told you that Harley Davidson is looking forward to update their 2016 portfolio and with it, Harley has also announced that they will be bring their Road King motorcycle very soon. Road King is also known by the name FLHR and it stands at a prestigious place in the history of Harley Davidson. It is almost 21 years old now and it has roots going all the way back to first FL model introduced in 1941.

Talking about what Road King really is, it is famous for being one of the signature traditional cruisers in the line-up of Harley Davidson. It is equipped with 22 litres fuel tank and chrome plated lamps, handlebar, engine, forks and exhaust. Speedometer, distance to empty gauge, tachometer and a gear indicator along with other functionalities are included on the tank mounted electronic instrumental console. The windscreen protecting from the windblast upfront can be detached and the motorcycle includes the features like optional cruise control and ABS as standard. Talking about the engine that powers the Road King, it is an air-cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 engine which delivers immense 142Nm of torque. This 1689cc engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. Road King rolls on 17-inch and 16-inch cast aluminium wheels. We expect that Harley Davidson India will price it around INR 22 lakhs here in the country and it will directly compete with motorcycles like Indian Chief Dark Horse and Triumph Rocket X.
