Harley-Davidson is all set to unveil 2017 motorcycles in India

Snapshot: The earlier model of CVO Limited and the Road Glide Special are already available in Indian market. Whereas Roadster is the newer one to this cruiser family. The CVO limited, flagship model of Harley-Davidson in India is packed with 1,868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin which coupled with a six-speed gearbox.

Harley-Davidson is going to unveil three of its 2017 models in India on November 8, 2016. The manufacture has sent invitation for the launching event of these cruisers, which will showcase the 2017 CVO Limited, the Road Glide Special, and the Roadster models. These cruisers will be running the latest new Milwaukee-Eight V-twins engine, which is more powerful and advanced in comparison to earlier Twin-Cam engines.

The earlier model of CVO Limited and the Road Glide Special are already available in Indian market. Whereas Roadster is the newer one to this cruiser family. The CVO limited, flagship model of Harley-Davidson in India is packed with 1,868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin which coupled with a six-speed gearbox. The 4 valves, bigger displacement and higher compression ratio provides 165Nm of torque @3250rpm. Additionally, the bagger style motorbike comes with cutting edge features like adjustable suspension, brembo brakes with ABS, keyless ignition and many more.


The 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special has been modernised with the next-gen Milwaukee-Eight 107 engines, which provides more power and torque than the earlier Twin-Cam 103 engine. The motorcycle is equipped with identical features like its bigger version except keyless ignition.  

The all new Roadster cruiser on the other hand attracts with its sensual and elegant design. The motorbike looks macho with brought down handlebars.In terms of power section, a 1,200cc, air-cooled, Evolution V-Twin engine deliver 96Nm of maximum torque.

The price of these cruiser is expected to be around Rs 10 lakh in Indian market and the manufacture will also charge slight extra for  its 2017 models of the CVO Limited and the Road Glide Special as well.
