Harley Davidson is all set to launch an all new range of bikes in India tomorrow. The new range will include its CVO limited, Road Glide Special and the Roadster bikes, all powered by the new Milwaukee-Eight v-twin engines.
When contrasted with the past era twin-cam motor controlled models, the new range of Harley Davidson bikes have been guaranteed to convey 10 percent more power and torque due to the bigger displacement, 4-valve heads and higher compression ratio.
The 2017 CVO Limited is powered by the new Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin, that can churn out massive 165 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm, and the engine is further mated to a great six-speed transmission, that sends all the power to the wheel of the motorcycle. The cruiser motorcycle gets features such as a brilliant pair of Brembo brakes, ABS, keyless start, adjustable suspension set-up, BOOM! Box 6.5GT infotainment system etc.
The 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special is controlled by the new Milwaukee-Eight 107 motor that produces maximum torque of 150 Nm at 3,250 rpm. The Road Glide special has all the features of the CVO Limited except for the keyless start.
The new Harley-Davidson Roadster is an all new kind of motorcycle for the Indian market, very much different from other motorcycles of the same brand. It is based on the popular Forty-Eight model, the bike offers a bit sporty riding position along with slightly aggressive design. The bike is powered by an air-cooled, 1,200cc Evolution V-Twin engine, that can deliver up to 96 Nm of torque.
The Roadster was unveiled in the US, some time back and got a lot of attention from the biking community. Now the company is launching it in India with high hopes. It is likely to be priced around INR 10 lakhs.
