The Harley Davidson owners across the globe are gearing up to ride for two days and participate in an annual event that Harley calls World Ride. In 2008, Harley had introduced an idea known as Million Mile Monday which was later changed to a two-day event known as Harley Davidson World Ride. In this event, people ride their machines and record their miles on a dedicated website https://ridefree.harley-davidson.com/worldride/en-ca/ where the odometer will show the collective number of miles Harley riders have done across the world.
In 2013, riders from 65 nations had participated in the ride and collectively rode more than 10 million miles. India's performance was very impressive as it added 611,076 miles to the global tally. In India, this year, over a 100 Harley riders will be riding to India's heart which is in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh and break last year's record. After the ride, the participants will be able to download a certificate of participation from the World Ride website.
