Another major news of today heading our way from Harley Davidson India, the legendary American motorcycle maker named Vikram Pawah as the new Managing director of Harley-Davidson India effective today. Vikram Pawah have more than 24 years of experience and out of this, he utilized 21 years working with Honda in India and Australia. His last role was assistant vice president and operating head - sales with Honda Cars India Ltd, where he was responsible for leading the sales operations pan India and the export markets for product and accessories.

Now in the new role, Pawah will work towards expanding companies reach in the country, managing Harley-Davidson India’s leadership team responsible for in-country sales, dealer network management, marketing, service and operations activities for the expanding the reach. Apart from Honda, Pawah has also worked with Jay Engineering Works Ltd, a market leader in the manufacturing of USHA brand fans, sewing machines and fuel injection equipment, as well as Fun Foods India Pvt. Ltd.

“India is an important and growing market for Harley-Davidson, and with Pawah’s leadership and long experience in the automotive industry, we will seek to expand our presence even further in the country, to allow more customers the opportunity to fulfil their dreams of personal freedom,” said Marc McAllister, vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific.
