Hero MotoCorp has introduced the CBS (Combi Braking System) equipped HF Deluxe motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company has named its CBS tech as Integrated Braking System (iBS). This technology will also be offered on all Hero products below 125cc displacement in India. The 2019 Hero HF Deluxe iBS is available in 3 different variants - Kick Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel, Kick Start Drum Brake Spoke Wheel and Self Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel - priced at Rs 40,400, Rs 390,400 and Rs 48,100 respectively.

Besides new Integrated Braking System and larger drum brakes, the Hero Deluxe i3S is largely identical to the previous model. In fact, the mechanics and feature-list of the motorcycle remains the same. It is powered by a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of producing 8.24bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheel via a 4-speed gearbox. Thanks to the Hero's i3S start/stop system, the Hero HF Deluxe is one of the most economical motorcycles currently on sale in the entry-level segment. It is claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 88.24kmpl.

For braking duties, the 2019 HF Deluxe iBS gets 130mm drum brakes instead of the 110mm units. The new setup is claimed to have improved the stopping power and reduces the braking distance. Suspension mechanism of the bike comprises of telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and two-step adjustable hydraulic unit at the rear. The 2019 Hero HF Deluxe iBS is available in 5 dual-tone paint schemes -Heavy Grey with Green (New), Heavy Grey with Black, Candy Blazing Red, Black with Red and Black with Purple. The instrument console is split into two dials - one for the speedometer and the second for the fuel gauge and telltale indicator that also includes a side stand warning.

Not just updating the existing range, Hero MotoCorp will soon enter into the premium motorcycle and scooter segments. The company will introduce the Maestro Edge 125cc scooter, which was unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. Adding to it, Hero will launch 2 all-new 200cc motorcycles - XPluse 200 and XPulse 200T in the Indian market in the first half of 2019.
