It seems that the dealerships have started accepting the bookings of the Passion Pro TR which, as Hero claims, will be an on/off road motorcycle in the commuter segment. This proposition makes it look like a fool to us. No offense Hero but what change does it make at all if you just add an off-road mudguard at the front, hand guards, off-road tyres, headlamp grille, knee pad and a bash plate to a motorcycle that produces a maximum power of 7.8PS and 8.04Nm of torque. The bike also has alloy wheels and there has been no improvement in the travel of the suspensions which again makes us look at it with suspicion. We aren't sure if this move will be a hit for Hero MotoCorp or if it will be a dud like its Impulse.

Passion Pro TR has also made it to Hero's website with specifications. The launch of the motorcycle is expected to happen soon in a phased manner. The on/off road motorcycle will be made available in three colour options: Electric Blue, Sports Red and dual-tone Black with Sports red. The exact price and launch date are still unclear, but should be made public very soon.
