Karizma was once a super successful product offered by Hero-Honda (previously known) once. Karizma has ruled Indian roads for more than 1.5 decade now and it was a kind of bike everyone once desired. With time Indian market has witness a tremendous growth in the Indian motorcycling scene over past few years.
With entry of brands like KTM, Benelli and many more, India turned into one of the important markets that caught eye of every major two-wheeler manufacturer in the world. All new Karizma’s were introduced to the world in 2013 that received extreme criticism at the time of launch and time proved that the new Karizma’s were not very good products indeed. Eventually sales dropped and Hero had to suffer the losses. The sales went so down that the figures did not even cross 600 for the Karizma twins in the month of April this year.
Hero has also been busy in conducting a survey to know from the dealers that if people actually want the old Karizma R back. Hero is now planning to launch an all new Karizma R that might help Hero to get back in game, keeping the stiff competition in mind we expect that Hero will give a full make over to the upcoming Karizma with brand new looks and more powerful engine. Though the bankruptcy of Hero’s technical partner EBR has significantly delayed the launch of HX250R for the Indian market but all new Karizma R is expected to hit the Indian market sooner.
