According to the ongoing reports, Hero Motocorp. has decided to pull the plugs off the Xtreme from the Indian market. Xtreme Sports is doing a great job when it comes to sale figures and due to its high popularity, Hero has decided to discontinue the standard Xtreme from its Indian line-up.

Though its not officially confirmed by the manufacturer, but having talked to some of the local dealers, the reports seems true. Hero Xtreme Sports retails at INR 75,725 (ex-showroom New Delhi), on the other hand there is only 700 Rupees difference in between, Xtreme is priced at INR 75,025 (ex-showroom New Delhi). Xtreme Sports offers more features and value for money that naturally makes it a better buy.

Both the motorcycle houses the same 149.2cc Air Cooled, 4 - Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine, but Xtreme Sports’s power mill is tuned to churn out slightly more power than it’s standard variant. Though it is still listed on the Hero Motorcorp.’s web page and same has not been officially confirmed by the auto maker yet. Dont forget to share your views in the comment section below.
