Hero MotoCorp reports a decent 8.67% growth this July

Snapshot: India's biggest two-wheeler manufacturer sold 5,29,862 units this July over 4,87,545 units sold in July 2013

Hero MotoCorp released today its sales figures for the month of July 2014 which is 8.67% more than last July. The total number of two-wheelers sold this July were 5,29,862 which is 42,317 units more than what was sold in July 2013. In July, Hero also became the first Indian two-wheeler to have a fully-owned subsidiary in Latin America when it set-up HMCL Colombia SAS in Colombia.

In the press release released by the two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp said, "All the recent launches by the company, including the new Xtreme, Karizma and ZMR are driving volumes across market."

With some new launches waiting to happen in the next few weeks, Hero MotoCorp is going to stay at the top spot for some good time. Hero also has commenced the dispatch of its latest offering - the Passion Pro TR - to the dealerships. It also has extended the tenure of its CFO Ravi Sud by two years making him stay at the company till July 31, 2016.
